For the 2002 vintage, we added an assistant winemaker to our team, Kathi Belcher. Kathi has been in a big winery production setting for the past 12 years. We welcome her help, brains and great energy. Our 2002 Vintage has beautiful fruit and charming characteristics of past Arns Cabernets. The wine shows consistent, inky color and a rich nose of berries, cedar, chocolate, anise and black fruit. We used 100% new French Oak cooperage. This year, in addition to our traditional Seguin Moreau and Taransaud barrels, we have incorporated Gamba barrels from Italy. We are excited about its wood as an enhancement to our fruit. The 2002 will see another year in wood, then be blended, bottled and kept for an additional year (our established program) before release. Current Release | Quantity: 750 Cases |
