Wine Spectator - 90 Points!
Robert Parker - 90-92 Points!
Strong efforts have emerged from this property over recent vintages, and the 2005 (which nearly achieved 15% natural alcohol) is a big, rich, concentrated, plump, dense purple-colored claret offering a sweet bouquet of blackberries, cherries, licorice, and pain grille. There is opulent fruit on the attack as well as loads of glycerin and texture, and a pure, moderately tannic finish. Look for this cuvee to drink well over the next 15 years.
