Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon are the classic grapes found in the Italian “super-Tuscan” red wine blend. They take on a new dimension when grown in Sonoma County’s earthy burnt orange soils. Our 2005 Siena reflects the Ferrari-Carano Italian heritage by combining the Italian grape, Sangiovese, with Sonoma County's finest grapes. Siena has unique aromas of strawberry and raspberry. We blend the Sangiovese with Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon to add support to the mouth-feel and body |
