Frank Family Vineyards' 2005 Sangiovese first exposed it's beauty through an intense scarlet red color. The aromas are complex; ranging from delicate rose petals and raspberry blossom, to cherry wood smoked bacon, followed by rich coffee and cinnamon. Upfront the palate is silky instructure, with bright youthful fruits of sour cherry and cranberry. While the tannins remain soft, a richness of juicystone fruit and black cherry emerge in the mid-palate, moving into a refined finish of smoky spice.
