It could be described as Sangiovese for Cabernet aficionados. With ultra-rich fruit and a seamless texture, it is a remarkable example of this grape variety. Winemaker’s Notes 2002 Sangiovese Medium to dark garnet in color (quite dark for Sangiovese). This wine has lovely aromatics of strawberry, dried cranberry and a hint of lavender. Wonderful ripeness of fruit in the mouth and a lovely mouth feel make this a very exciting wine. This is the wine for hearty, spicy dishes.
